#7 Wallace State Splits with Northeast in Doubleheader
The number seven-ranked Wallace State Lions hosted the Northeast Mustangs. Wallace State won the first game 2-1 but fell by a score of 2-11 in the second.
The Lions are now 21-6 overall with a conference record of 5-1. The Mustangs leave with a 12-6 record.

The Wallace State Lions softball team, ranked #7 in the latest NJCAA rankings, split a doubleheader with #20 Volunteer State. The Lions won a shootout in the first game 15-13 but fell 3-1 in the low-scoring second game.
Lions sweep Gadsden State to open conference play
The Wallace State Lions softball team completed a four-game sweep of Gadsden State in ACCC play on Saturday. After winning two games at Gadsden on Thursday, the Lions swept the Cardinals in a doubleheader on Saturday, winning the first game 5-2 before coming from behind to win the second game 3-2.
Wallace State’s Women Prevail Against Shelton State to Win First ACCC Title in 14 Years
After Friday afternoon’s win over Calhoun, the Wallace State Lions faced off against the perennial powerhouse, Shelton State. The number one seeded Bucs defeated the number five seeded Lawson State Cougars to set up the rematch of last year’s ACCC championship game. Shelton State defeated the Lions last year by a score of 60-58.
Wallace’s Big Three lead Lions to ACCC Championship Game
The top-seeded Wallace State men’s basketball team won a 2025 Alabama Community College Conference Championship semifinal game against Lawson State on Friday Night at Spragins Hall on the campus of Alabama-Huntsville by a score of 98-84 to advance to the championship game on Saturday.
